Happy Birthday Brian!

Today is Brian's 38th birthday! I know I don't often talk about him because I'm too busy bragging on my children...but today is the day to honor my husband! I know everyday should be...but you know...life is crazy and who usually get's the short end of the stick....Brian! When we first began dating I asked God constantly to NEVER let me take Brian for granted or forget what an amazing person he is. I have to be honest and tell you that most days I spend picking at little weird things he does instead of loving him for who he is. Let me just remind myself as I tell you...who this man is. Brian is the kind of man that falls in love with a woman with 3 little girls but doesn't look at it as baggage but as a huge blessing! He's the kind of man who works endless amount of hours in a day without complaining and still has time to come home and cook and play silly with his girls.. He's also the kind of man who stands strongly by his wife's side as she has panic attacks and surgeries and never complains about picking up more responsibilities. He's the kind of man who steps into the parent role with ease and shows his daughters what it's like to be great husband and father. He's the best kind of man to have with you on vacations because he picks the coolest places to go and the BEST places to eat!!!! He's the kind of man who build's us a dream house and listens to our weird ideas and usually can bring them to life! He's the kind of man who when asked to adopt yet another child..he quietly prays about it and then supports his wife. He's the kind of man who is so in love with his son that before he meets him ....he is already trying to protect him from pain and hurt.

Thank you God for sending me Brian when I needed him the most...and giving him the patience to stay with me through what has been the best 11 years of my life. I pray you always stay in his heart. Amen
